Get Your Trim Scissors + Clippers

You will need trim scissors and clippers to garden cannabis at home successfully. If you didn’t know already, growers use trim scissors to remove dead or dying leaves, remove leaves that block bud sites in early flower, and to clip away thin branches that need to be lollipopped. Trim scissors will also be used to hand trim your dried cannabis flowers at the end of your grow. There will be further education on these activities later. Trim scissors come in different styles and with different levels of quality. Some have straight blades, and others are curved.

Clippers, loppers, and pruning shears, or whatever you call them, are used to cut your indoor plants down at the stalk when it is time to harvest.

Be careful using trim scissors and clippers as both are extremely sharp and thus potentially dangerous. Lastly, always keep these tools clean by rinsing them in a bleach/water solution after using them in your garden.
